As part of its international cooperation program, Hue Central Hospital welcomed and worked with a delegation of South Korean partners from June 8th to 10th, 2026, to expand cooperation in healthcare, research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and the development of specialized medical services in Hue City.

To ensure the health and safety of candidates participating in and those involving in the High School Graduation Examination this year, the City’s Department of Health has rolled out a series of measures covering healthcare services, disease prevention and control, and food safety during the exam period.

On May 15, the Sub-department of Irrigation and Climate Change under the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Vietnam, launched the project “Strengthening climate change resilience and adaptation capacity of urban areas in Central Vietnam”. On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), on April 29, under authorization, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Manh visited and presented gifts from General Secretary and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam to meritorious beneficiaries currently being cared for at Hue City Center for Nursing and Care for People with Meritorious Service.

To timely serve visitors during the upcoming Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the April 30 - May 1 holidays, on April 22, the Department of Tourism announced communication channels to provide information on accommodation and tourism services.

On the morning of April 6th, Hue city People’s Committee held the launch ceremony for the “Understanding Online Public Services on the Hue-S Platform 2026” online contest. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, along with representatives of departments, agencies, localities, universities, hospitals, research institutes, and the business community in the area.

The synchronous investment in infrastructure across economic and industrial zones is opening a new development space for Hue, while also enhancing its capacity to attract large-scale projects, and creating a ripple effect for the growth of supporting industries, logistics services, and import-export activities.

The teams of doctors and medical staff at local health stations play the role of “gatekeepers” of the healthcare system, helping to reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals and bringing healthcare services closer to the residents.
