On the evening of September 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Travel Magazine and other partners, organized the “Experiencing Traditional Hue Mid-Autumn Festival”program. This event is part of a series of activities taking place in the four seasons of Hue Festival 2024, aiming at responding to the autumn festival - “Hue in Autumn” of the Hue Festival 2024.

The Community Ao dai Week 2024, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, officially opened on the afternoon of June 24th at 15 Le Loi Building, Hue City. This week-long series of activities and events aims to promote and spread the image of ao dai to the community.

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

On the afternoon of May 15th, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Organizing Board of the Vesak Day Celebration of Buddhist Calendar 2568 held the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition themed “Fragrance of the Lotus”. This significant event is part of the series of activities for the Vesak Week of Buddhist Calendar 2568 in 2024.

On the evening of April 19, at Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City), the Provincial Department of Tourism organized the "Hue - Welcome Summer 2024" event. This event is part of the series of activities within Hue Festival 2024, with the aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome an attractive summer tourism season, as well as creating a media effect to attract visitors to Thua Thien Hue Province.

Since 2022, the Hue Festival has been developed with a four-season orientation through a series of continuous events and festivals throughout the year, making the most of unique cultural - geographical - historical factors from royal festivals, folk festivals, religious festivals, etc.

The “Tet Hue” Festival organized by Hue city is set to kick off a series of activities to welcome the new year 2024, with the highlight being the “Tet Hue” program organized annually on the occasion of celebrating the nation's traditional Tet.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. Attending the opening ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Hue Festival 2024 is due to open with the Opening program – the Ban Soc Ceremony (January 1) and end with the Countdown program, with the highlight being Hue Festival Week 2024, which will take place from June 7 - 12.

As part of the event series of the annual German Film Festival (Kinofest) in Vietnam, the German Film Festival 2023 – Hue City opened at the Intercultural meeting place - Huong River Ancient Pottery Museum (located at 94-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Hue City) on the evening of November 24th.
