On the morning of December 28, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan had a meeting and commendation with the team of students who won prizes in the international Olympiad and Scientific and Technical Competitions 2024. Ho Duc Trung, an alumnus of Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted was awarded the Third-Class Labor Order for his achievement of winning the Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad.

On December 24, National Excellent Student Exam for the 2024-2025 academic year officially began at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue.

After winning the Week 2 competition, February, quarter 1, Le Quang Duy Khoa, the students of Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted continues to claim the monthly crown in the February competition, quarter 1 of the 25th season of the Road to Mount Olympia, which aired on the afternoon of December 8.

On December 1st, Hue Educational Foundation (the Foundation) held a ceremony to award first-semester scholarships for the 2024–2025 academic year to High school and University students across the province.

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.
