This forest simulates the most typical and representative characteristics of the tropical rainforest ecosystem of the Central Coastal provinces and cities. Beyond its significance in conserving and preserving biodiversity and valuable genetic resources of forest plant species that are characteristic and representative of the tropical rainforest ecosystem, the site also opens up strong prospects of becoming a destination for research and learning, as well as a unique highlight serving eco-tourism.

This was the directive of the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, at the conference reviewing the 2025 work results and deploying tasks for 2026 of Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), held on the afternoon of January 9th. ​

The year 2026 opens the 2026–2030 period, marked by increasingly fierce competition to attract resources, talent, and visitors, while Hue cannot pursue rapid urbanization or heavy industry. Through forestry investment support and livelihood creation for local people, based on efficient forest environment utilization, the localities, units, and relevant sectors have mobilized and promoted the roles of communities and enterprises, contributing to strategic changes in forest resource management and development.

The development of the labor market is not only linked with social welfare but also serves as a pillar for sustainable growth. Hue City is focusing on investing in resources, at the same time expanding employment opportunities, and accompanying businesses and workers in the new phase.
