On the morning of May 31st, People’s Committee of Hue City held the launching ceremony for Action Month for Children 2025 with the theme: “Prioritize resources to fulfill goals for children.”

During her trip to Hue, Ms. Sandrine, a French tourist, and her group were amazed by how green the city was. With admiration, she asked: “What has enabled Hue to balance economic development with heritage and natural resource preservation?”

On the afternoon of April 25th, the City Institute for Development Research, in collaboration with the Institute for Digital Transformation and Learning Resources of Hue University, held a conference aiming at promoting Hue’s cultural development and expanding the Hue Bookcase project across university and college libraries in the city.

On March 6, Hue Tourism College, in collaboration with Trung Phuong - Lang Co One Member Limited Liability Company, held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement in training high-quality human resources in tourism sector.

On the afternoon of February 25, in Hue City, the Management Units of the CarBi phase II project of Hue City and Quang Nam Province, in collaboration with the WWF - CarBi project, organized a conference to close the “Carbon and Biodiversity” (CarBi) phase II project, and launch the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework in the Central Annamites.

With the theme of “Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities”, Hue is meticulously gearing up, mobilizing all resources to ensure the success of the National Tourism Year and create enduring value for the tourism industry in the years to come.

2024 is a significant year in the process of developing Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed municipality according to Resolution 54-NQ/TW of the Politburo. Therefore, Hue City is focusing its resources and directing the implementation of key development projects to expand urban space, aiming to create connectivity between the city's North and South districts.

On December 27th, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in collaboration with “For Green Future” Foundation (Vingroup), held the 2024 Vietnam ASEAN Eco-schools awards ceremony in Hanoi.
