Investment promotion plays an extremely important role, contributing to attracting investment capital; forming industrial and export processing zones to serve the manufacturing of exports. With a favorable geographical location, open investment attraction policies, gradually refined mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development, etc., Thua Thien Hue has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

On the morning of June 25, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports organized a ceremony to offer incense and flowers, and a procession of gratitude to the ancestor on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, the person who laid the foundation of Vietnamese ao dai.

Hue Monuments Conservation Center recently had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Ha Duong, managing director of the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VinIF, to discuss the implementation process of the project “Restoring, training and teaching Hue tuong mask painting art - a traditional art form at high risk of being lost”. The project is built by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and sponsored by the VinIF.

Concerns about losing the “green” image of the heritage-rich ancient capital were prevalent when Thua Thien Hue province began developing industrial and economic zones (IZs and EZs) decades ago. However, through the province’s meticulous selection process, many of these zones have flourished, proving the right direction and significantly contributing to job creation and socio-economic development.

On the late afternoon of May 21 (the 14th day of the 4th month in Lunar Calendar), the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak 2568 Organization Board held the Buddha procession ceremony from Dieu De Pagoda to Tu Dam Pagoda.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with representatives of a number of departments and agencies, local people, as well as tourists, participated in the procession offering lotus flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Special National Monument - President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood Memorial House in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) on the morning of May 19th.

A large crowd attending Hue Nam Temple Festival (or Hon Chen Temple) took part in a solemn land procession from Thien Tien Holy Shrine (352 Chi Lang, Hue City) to Nghinh Luong Dinh (Nghinh Luong Pavilion) before embarking on boats to move to the temple.

Amidst the scorching hot in April, Bao Chau’s photos, which recorded the scene of Pho Trach villagers (Phong Binh, Phong Dien) harvesting Bang grass (Lepironia articulata) in the green field, like gentle gifts for all eyes. Under Chau's photo angles, Pho Trach is rich and peaceful in every hand movement, the smiles of the villagers in each step, from harvesting Bang grass in the field, drying, preliminary processing the grass, to making it into valuable handicrafts.

The land procession will depart from 352 Chi Lang to move towards Nghinh Luong Dinh (Nghinh Luong Pavilion). Simultaneously, the boat procession will depart from 352 Chi Lang to the Nghinh Luong Dinh wharf, awaiting the land procession to escort the Mother Goddess to Hue Nam Temple.

From researching the topic to participate in the Provincial Science-Technology Contest for High School Students, a group of students from Dang Tran Con Senior High School made tea bags from rose myrtle flowers, a unique product from the local raw material sources.
