Hue continues to create opportunities for Carlsberg Vietnam’s investment expansion

On the morning of August 7th, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, held a working session with Carlsberg Vietnam Brewery Ltd., to address challenges and accelerate the progress of the plant’s capacity expansion project at the Phu Bai Industrial Zone. The meeting also provided an opportunity for city officials to listen to recommendations from the company.

At the session, Carlsberg Vietnam petitioned Hue authorities to continue to create favorable conditions to ensure that the expanded production line can be operational on schedule, particularly in terms of administrative procedures, technical infrastructure, and inter-agency coordination.

Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman Phuong confirmed the city’s commitment to standing by businesses, especially in the current period of post-pandemic recovery and market fluctuations.

“We are here to listen and share. We will instruct departments and relevant agencies to work closely to resolve any issues efficiently, from infrastructure to administrative processes, maintain a stable and transparent investment environment,” said Mr. Phuong.

The City leaders also encouraged Carlsberg Vietnam to continue innovating its consumption models by aligning them with local tourism and cultural activities. The company was invited to participate more actively in signature events such as Hue Festival, Ao Dai Festival, and Dem Hoang Cung (Royal Night)… At the same time, the city emphasized the importance of sustainable development, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and safeguarding workers' rights.

“We hope Carlsberg Vietnam not only expands its production, but also becomes an integral part of Hue’s development strategy - a heritage city undergoing dynamic transformation while preserving its unique cultural identity,” Mr. Phuong stressed.
