It is undeniable that investment promotion activities are making great strides in recent times, but investment promotion activities also need to be adjusted to be more consistent with planning and development orientations of the province.

On July 19th, the Provincial Urban Development and Investment Management Board held a seminar to announce the 1/2000 scale subdivision planning project for Thanh Tien ecological urban area (EUA).

The “Romantic features in the ancient village”painting contest, organized by the project supportingViet Nam’s social impact business ecosystemin response to COVID-19 (ISEE-COVID) in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Investment, is currently running from June 30th to July 13th, 2024, at Phuoc Tich ancient village, Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district.

Thua Thien Hue Provincial Planning in the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050 approved and widely announced is of great significance. This prepares the ground for serious, synchronous, and effective implementation.

As a ‘symphony’ of Hue urban planning, the Perfume River has carried on its historical mission of adorning the elegance of Hue, and is now being preserved. The river will continue to flow in the future, and preserving the Perfume River, therefore, is like preserving the ‘backbone’ of Hue urban area.

On the afternoon of November 1, in Hanoi, the provincial delegation, led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh, had a working session with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the contents related to projects on planning, green transportation and climate change. For the sake of sustainable preservation of the precious heritage of the ancestors, Hue Monuments Conservation Center has organized an exhibition and conducted an opinion poll regarding Planning documents for preserving, repairing, and restoring the Complex of Hue Monuments until 2030, with a vision towards 2050.

A host of environmental problems, urban embellishment, traffic pressure, and traffic network planning need radical and appropriate solutions. The face of a civilized and modern city is what the province is aiming for in the process of building a centrally-run city.
