There was a time when the terel flute was woven into the everyday life of the Pa Hy community. Its melodies rang out during festivals, across upland fields, and on moonlit nights when young lovers met. Over time, however, fewer and fewer people have retained the knowledge of how to make and play this distinctive instrument.

On the afternoon of 30/9, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Le Tri Thanh led a survey of several heritage sites and cultural spaces to assess their current conditions and study ways to promote their historical, architectural and landscape values.

On the morning of September 30, Hue City Department of Home Affairs held the 2026 Hue City Job Fair. The event was attended by the Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Manh, representatives of city departments, agencies and local authorities, as well as a large number of businesses, training institutions, and job seekers.

On September 8, 2026, Hue City People’s Committee issued Plan No. 519/KH-UBND to implement Conclusion No. 372-KL/TU of the City Party Committee. The plan continues the implementation of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU on building Hue into one of the country’s major and distinctive centers of culture and tourism, and Resolution No. 37-NQ/TU on developing tourism and tourism services for the 2025–2030 period, with a vision to 2045.

On the afternoon of September 27th, Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hue City, in coordination with the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University, held a friendship gathering and exchange program to mark the 77th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1st, 1949 - October 1st, 2026). ​

On the morning of September 27, the Hoa Chau Ward People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the 2026 ‘Ru Cha - Colors of Autumn’ photo contest. The contest aims to promote Ru Cha’s ecological and cultural beauty, community life, and tourism potential.

On the evening of September 26, at the 1K Noodle Shop (Tiem mi 1K), Hue SOS75 Zero-Cost Team held the ‘Journey of Sharing Love’ program, presenting gifts and free meals to people facing difficult circumstances in the city.

In Binh Dien Commune, people with knowledge of Pa Hy culture are directly teaching traditional folk songs, dances, and musical instruments to younger generations. Through the Pa Hy Traditional Folk Song Club, the cultural heritage continues to be passed down.

On the morning of September 25th, Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with Sun Group, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of Sun Group’s Central Vietnam region. Also in attendance were representatives of relevant departments, agencies and local authorities.

On the morning of September 25 in Hue City, the Ministry of Health, in coordination with Hue City People’s Committee, launched the Safe Motherhood Week 2026 under the theme ‘Gestational Blood Sugar Control - Peace of Mind for Mothers, Good Health for Babies’.
