Organizing STEAM educational experiences for students; a warm art night dedicated to mothers; a journey carrying books to a remote village; and a discussion with young people about French architecture, etc., these activities gave August a warm start at Hue Book and Culture Space - a cultural meeting place that, despite being new, has become a cherished part of Hue.

In the quiet and profound artistic space of Hue, Trinh Cong Son's music has never faded. More than half a century, songs such as "Diem Xua", "Quynh Huong", "O tro", "Nang Thuy tinh”, etc., are still present in the spiritual life of the people in the Ancient Capital, especially the young ones.

On the morning of August 23, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam” (TVA project), in collaboration with the People's Committees of Thuan An Ward and Phu Vinh Commune, launched 3 waiting lounges and free drinking water dispenser stations at Phu Thuan, Phu Dien, and Vinh Thanh beaches.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), as well as the celebration of the 17th Party Congress of Hue City, term 2025 – 2030, on the morning of August 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 4 technical infrastructure projects for relocation areas and cemeteries to support land clearance for the high-speed rail project along the North-South route passing through Hue City.

On the morning of August 18, the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, in collaboration with Hue City Department of Health and a sponsoring unit, launched a safe swimming class for children aged 6 to 15. The class attracted 300 participating students, divided into 15 groups.

On the afternoon of August 15, the Office of Hue City People’s Committee announced that on August 14, Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, together with leaders of Dien Bien Province and Tay Ninh Province attended the seminar “Enhancing Dien Bien - Hue - Tay Ninh cooperation with Australian partners”.

On the afternoon of August 13, Hue City People's Committee Office announced that a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, had a series of working sessions in Hobart City, Tasmania, Australia. These sessions were part of the Program to promote Vietnamese localities in Australia in 2025, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A friend of mine just came from the Southeastern region to visit Hue. After a day visiting various destinations, from the Imperial Citadel to the tombs of Emperors Gia Long and Minh Mang, then heading to the Van Thanh - Vo Thanh temples and Thien Mu Pagoda, my friend warmly remarked: “In Hue, wherever you go, you can see the Huong River. Now I understand why people here are so gentle and friendly. In this scene, by this river, it’s hard even to get upset!”.

On the morning of August 12, the City People's Committee Office announced that a delegation from Hue City, led by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, had a working session with the Vietnamese Business Association in Australia (VBAA) and businesses in the state of Victoria.

On the afternoon of August 11, Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council - People’s Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City held a ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day of All People Protecting National Security (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) at the City Cultural - Cinema Center.
