On the afternoon of Jun 1st, the third season of TEDXLe Loi Street took place at Hue UK Academy, attracting over 200 attendants, including students and those loving and cherishing the cultural values of the ancient capital.

After more than four years of planning, preparation, and dedicated passion, Hue Culinary Association was officially launched on the evening of May 28. The initiative aims to build and elevate the culinary culture of Hue City, living up to its reputation as the “Culinary Capital of Vietnam.”

Without fanfare or grand stages, artists, artisans, and skilled craftspeople are quietly passing on and preserving traditional crafts in the ancient capital. They are the “extended arms” for the journey of preserving intangible cultural heritage and Hue’s historical monuments.

Ho Dac Cung, a young Hue native raised in Cai Lay, Tien Giang, developed a passion for engine mechanics and, through self-teaching, built his own airplane. In 1935, faced with financial constraints, he wrote to Emperor Bao Dai seeking assistance and received the monarch’s approval.

For Le Hoang Anh Thu, a 12th-grade student specializing in History and Geography at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, history holds a unique appeal and passion. This has driven her to continuously strive for First Prize in the National Exam.

On February 14th, the Gulfstream G650ER private jet, bearing the registration VN-A968, carrying several passengers, landed at Phu Bai International Airport. This aircraft is considered one of the most beautiful private jets in Southeast Asia as of now.

French architectural works are considered an integral part of the cultural and historical landscape of the Ancient Capital. This has also motivated young people from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University to seek ways to contribute to preserving the image of ancient Hue.

Ancient chrysanthemums, a symbol frequently found in heritage structures, clothing, and jewelry of the Nguyen Dynasty, have left their traces but seem to have disappeared from Hue. Meanwhile, the appreciation for these flowers continues as a quiet passion among some "scholars of Ha Thanh".

On the morning of January 14, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Changan Automobile Group officially announced the plan to build the Kim Long Truong An Vietnam passenger car manufacturing plant (5-7 seats).

"I want each of my works not only to be beautiful but also to tell a story about Co Tu people, their life, their beliefs and their traditional values left behind by their ancestors,” said Pham Van Ve, a 26-year-old man with a passion for portraying his ethnic identity through wood carving.
