The Project for the Conservation, Preservation, Reconstruction, and Overall Embellishment of Thai Mieu Temple (Phase 1, Stage 1) has reached about 85% completion. The dossier for restoring the main structure, Thai To Mieu Temple, is being finalized, and construction is expected to begin in Quarter 1, 2027.

The 2026 National Sambo & Sambo Youth Championship concluded on the afternoon of September 16. At the 2026 Beach Wrestling World Championships held from May 9th - 10th at My Khe Beach in Da Nang, two athletes from Hue wrestling team contributed two bronze medals to Vietnam wrestling’s overall success.

At noon on April 29, beach wrestling at the 6th Asian Beach Games (ABG6) - 2026 officially concluded. Two female wrestlers from Hue wrestling team made notable contributions to the overall success of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at this year’s Games.

After five editions, the VnExpress Marathon Hue has made tangible contributions to the city’s overall development landscape. Its sixth edition (taking place from April 17 to 19) is no exception, promising to provide a strong impetus for Hue’s strategy in developing sports, tourism and socio-economic growth.

The 2025 Asian Shuttlecock Championship and Asian Youth Shuttlecock Championship, held in Hong Kong (China) with the participance of 11 countries and territories, ended on the afternoon of June 28th. The Vietnamese national shuttlecock team claimed the overall championship title.
