The People's Committee of Hue City has approved the organization of the first race designed to explore the city’s cultural heritage - “Hue Heritage Trail 2025”. This is a highlight event within the framework of Hue’s 2025 Wellness Tourism Week and responding to the 2025 National Tourism Year.

On July 3rd, Hue Help Organization launched a safe swimming course as part of a child drowning prevention project funded by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK).

For the first time, the High School Graduation Exam is being conducted under two general education curricula: the 2006 and 2018 curricula, posing significant challenges in organization and operation. On June 23rd, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital officially launched a free reconstructive surgery program for patients with craniofacial deformities. The 14th East Asia Local and Regional Government Congress will take place in Hue City from June 5th to 7th, 2025, with the participation of over 200 delegates from 16 international localities (across 4 countries), 10 domestic localities, 2 international organizations, various ministries, and diplomatic representative agencies.

On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

On April 10th, the General Library of Hue City announced its coordination with various organizations to host numerous events and activities throughout April in celebration of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025.

With the theme “Shaping the Future," Open Day Festival 2025, organized by Hue College, attracted more than 2,300 students from secondary schools across Hue City, along with participation from various organizations and businesses.

On the morning of February 16th, Phuc's Fond awarded scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year to students of Hue University and those of the schools in the city.
