On the morning of November 11, in Hue City, the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue organized the opening ceremony of the program "Cherishing the Special Friendship Festival Vietnam - Laos 2023", on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Laos relationship (1962 - 2023) and 46 years since the two countries signed the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (1977 - 2023).

On the afternoon of November 8th, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Department of Tourism, organized the forum themed “Promoting investment activities and open innovation in the province’s tourism industry”.

The event was part of a series of activities for the "Fukuroi Day in Hue", organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. On the morning of October 30th, Hue Central Hospital informed about the valuable above-mentioned award at “The Southeast Asian Laparoscopic Challenge 2023 through Colorectal Surgery Recorded Video” organized by the ASEAN Society of Colorectal Surgeons in Bangkok, Thailand, in late October.

On October 23, three provinces and city, including: Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue, coordinated with the Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association to organize a tourism introduction program at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), Malaysia.

Implementing the plan to enhance digital awareness and skills among people and the entire society in 2023, on the morning of October 23, the Department of Information and Communications organized a launching ceremony of an online contest to learn about Hue-S digital platform.
