Promoting, advertising, and connecting tourism development

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented and discussed the development of Hue tourism with the conference delegates

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh stated that considering tourism as a spearhead economic sector, the local government and the tourism sector have been implementing many practical solutions to perfect products and improve service quality.

Every year, Thua Thien Hue organizes a conference to promote, advertise and connect tourism, with the desire to share information on the socio-economic development and tourism policies and mechanisms of the province. Through the conference, the province hopes to listen to the frank exchanges and discussions of leaders of corporations, associations, and businesses in the tourism sector, as well as the opinions from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and leading experts. This will enable the provincial leaders to propose solutions to address challenges and obstacles, thereby creating breakthroughs in attracting visitors to Hue.

According to Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, with its inherent tourism potential, Hue needs to implement various solutions to affirm its tourism position. The tourism sector of Thua Thien Hue also needs stronger priorities in promoting and advertising, affirming Hue's tourism advantages. It should focus on promoting and advertising in conjunction with a series of events of the 2025 National Tourism Year, developing promotional content that closely aligns with the market and reflects Hue's unique products. In addition, it is necessary to continue doing well in connecting tourism and leverage the strengths of localities to foster joint development.

According to the delegates and tourism experts, to develop Hue's tourism, it is necessary to continue building unique tourism products tied to the traditional culture of the Ancient Capital, in parallel with researching, renewing, and developing existing tourism products to serve the needs of both domestic and international visitors.

On the basis of promoting the immense value of Hue Festival, Thua Thien Hue tourism sector needs to create diverse cultural and festive activities, which are organized at different times of the year, to contribute to transforming Thua Thien Hue into a city of festivals.
