Enhancing skills and experience in treating pediatric endocrine diseases

HNN.VN - On September 30th, Hue Central Hospital organized a Pediatric Endocrinology training course for 30 doctors of the unit and medical facilities. Also attending the training course were professors and doctors from Toulouse University and Lille University (France).

The course is also connected with nearly 90 bridge points nationwide.

Within two days, the participants were informed by experts about “Growth abnormalities: Slow height growth and rapid height growth”; “Pubertal abnormalities: Early puberty and late puberty”; “Adrenal gland diseases, adrenal insufficiency in preterm infants”; “Type 1 diabetic ketoacidosis and hyperglycemia, hyperosmolarity”; “Gender development abnormalities”; “Calcium and bones: Calcium and phosphate metabolism diseases, bone diseases; “Thyroid diseases” , etc.

In the context of rapidly developing medicine, endocrine health problems in children have become one of the important fields, requiring regular research and updates. Pediatric endocrinology is related to hormonal disorders, growth and development diseases and metabolic disorders that can seriously affect the health and future of children. Care, early detection and timely treatment of diseases not only help improve the quality of life for children but also contribute to reducing the medical burden on families and society.
