In 2020, when male officials and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Sports wore ao dai during working days and the weekly flag-raising ceremony, it immediately sparked controversy online. Then, it was not just the cultural sector, at important events, the provincial leaders (now Hue City) and intellectuals also began wearing ao dai. The appearance of the traditional ao dai for both men and women at cultural and educational events made the ceremonies more solemn, elegant, and impressive.

This is an activity organized by Hue City’s Department of Health on the afternoon of August 8, with the participation of more than 30 instructors and officials from 6 wards and communes participating in the “Support for effective and sustainable interventions to prevent drowning in Hue City” project in 2025.

At the Central and Southern Vietnam finals of the STEM Robotics Robotacon WRO 2025, held recently in Ho Chi Minh City, the Eureka - Lego team from Eureka Center - Hue claimed the championship title in the B0 category for ages 6-10.
