On the morning of July 7, Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to organize an incense and flower offering ceremony, and a procession of gratitude to the ancestor on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, the person who laid the foundation of Ao dai Vietnam. This is one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2023, and within the framework of the Autumn Festival’s activities.

The procession of Uncle’s Ho portrait photo and lotus flowers was held solemnly on the morning of May 17 at Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) – the place associated with his childhood.

In the framework of the exhibition “Bonsais and Orchids of three regions in 2023” held by the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2023, on the morning of April 28, the ritual to offer bonsais and orchids took place from Ngo Mon Square to The Mieu.

On the morning of March 12, the Alliance of Arts and Literature Association of Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Thua Thien Hue and Thua Thien Hue Photography Association to hold a ceremony of offering flowers and incense to commemorate the celebrity Dang Huy Tru, the ancestor of Vietnam’s photography at the ancestral house of worship of the Dang Family (Thanh Luong village, Huong Xuan ward, Huong Tra town).

With the same value as Zèng cloth, the Amber sleeping mat of Ta Oi people (in A Luoi) also takes a lot of effort to produce. To make this product, sometimes the process of picking leaves, stripping, drying, dyeing, knitting… takes more than a month. Ta Oi girl, before coming to her husband's house, must have a few of these mats as an offering to show love and respect for the groom's family.

Annually, in the middle of the seventh month of lunar calendar, the descendants working from far away gather in the communal house of An Truyen (Chuon Village), Phu An Commune (Phu Vang District) for the Autumn offering ceremony.

The special offerings at Trach Pho Shrine (Phong Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District on February 12-13th of the Lunar Calendar every year), including a pair of sea bass and a tray of yam sweet soup, helped us connect ancient Southeast Asian cultural symbols together to clearly see the unique values condensed in the belief of worshiping the Thien Y A Na Goddess.

According to the information from the provincial Board of Administration of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Vesak week on the occasion of Buddha's 2566 birthday will be solemnly held to commemorate and make offerings to the birthday of the Buddha Shakyamuni, and pray for the glory of the Fatherland, longevity of the Dharma, peace in the world, and peaceful living beings.

Within the space to introduce typical products and local specialties of the Lunar New Year 2022 at Hue Imperial Citadel’s Night Streets, a procession of local products was organized to re-enact "Offerings of the Spring" by the Organizing Committee and Hue Monuments Conservation Center on the morning of January 26th.
