On the afternoon of August 26, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, Huong Giang Poetry Association of Hue City held a poetry and music program to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

On the morning of August 24, the inauguration ceremony of FPT Education Complex took place at An Van Duong Urban Area (Thanh Thuy Ward). This is one of the main constructions of Hue City in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

On the afternoon of August 22nd, information from the Department of Tourism indicated that the number of visitors to Hue during this year’s September 2nd holiday (National Day) is forecast to increase sharply, with an estimated 196,000 arrivals.

This year’s National Day holiday (September 2) lasts four days, providing the perfect opportunity for travelers to plan getaways. According to forecasts from the tourism sector, visitor numbers are expected to rise sharply, with independent travel and short tours emerging as dominant trends.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), as well as the celebration of the 17th Party Congress of Hue City, term 2025 – 2030, on the morning of August 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 4 technical infrastructure projects for relocation areas and cemeteries to support land clearance for the high-speed rail project along the North-South route passing through Hue City.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution’s Victory (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and National Day (September 2), Hue Monuments Conservation Center will offer ticket exemption for Vietnamese citizens for 2 days, including August 19 and September 2.

On the afternoon of August 11, Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council - People’s Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City held a ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day of All People Protecting National Security (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) at the City Cultural - Cinema Center.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a delegation from the City People’s Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Chairman of the City People’s Committee held a memorial ceremony, laid wreaths, and offered incense at Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery and Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery.

After five days of intense and thrilling competition, the 2025 National Karate Championship concluded on the afternoon of June 30th at Hue City Central Sports Arena.

On April 19th, the final round of the 7th Students with Startup Ideas Competition in 2025 officially kicked off at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. This event is part of the 7th National Startup Day for Students.
