Mega Booming - Hue 2025 is set to return on a larger scale, featuring a star-studded lineup of artists and aiming to captivate the young generation and music enthusiasts. This artistic showcase will be part of the closing ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025.

On October 16, the National Data Association coordinated with Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the Global Data Expert Network (Vietnam Data Expert Network - VDEN). After nearly two-thirds of the journey of the National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025, Hue’s tourism industry has recorded many positive results. Speaking with Hue Today Weekly, Director of Hue Department of Tourism Tran Thi Hoai Tram said that the NTY has not only brought strong growth in visitor numbers but also created a ripple effect in destination branding and in positioning the tourism identity of the Ancient Capital among businesses and tourists.

On the afternoon of October 12th, at the Sports and Cultural Center Stadium of Phu Xuan Ward (Hue City), the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association and Hue University and Professional Sports Association, held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Men Student Football Tournament - TV360 Cup, Central Region.

In mid-July, Ngoc Khanh Hat boi and Tuong co Troupe (hat boi and tuong co are types of Vietnamese classical opera) and others from the South gave two performances at Thanh Binh Tu Duong, also known as Thanh Binh Tu. The ancestral house, which is located in Alley 281 on Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, is dedicated to founding fathers of tuong. This house of great historical and cultural value has been recognized as National Heritage Site.

In response to the series of activities within the framework of the Autumn Festival themed “Hue in Autumn” of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Phu Xuan Ward, is preparing a variety of exciting programs for locals and visitors. Among them, the most anticipated highlight is the Unicorn-Lion-Dragon Dance Festival, Hue Unicorn dance performances, and the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade through the streets in 2025.

On October 1st, at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, held an online ceremony in response to the 2025 National Innovation Day under the theme “Innovation for All - Driving National Development”.
