On the morning of January 27, at Kim Long Motor Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly industrial park, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held a ceremony on signing a strategic cooperation with BYD Battery, one of the world’s leading companies in batteries and new energy vehicles, while also breaking ground on the BYD battery manufacturing plant.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.

On the morning of December 4, at Hue One Food manufacturing plant (No.1 Nguyen Van Tuyet Street, Thuan An Ward, Hue City), Hue One Food Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to release a 40-foot container, carrying about 19 tons of traditional Hue cakes, for official export to the U.S market.

On the morning of September 1st, Eon Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the inauguration ceremony of Eon Industry Vietnam Helmet Manufacturing Plant - Phase 1 at Gilimex Industrial Park (Phu Bai Ward). This project is part of a series of key works and projects inaugurated and launched in Hue City to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd).

On the afternoon of July 31, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong held a working session with the leaders of Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company regarding the progress of the Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex Project in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, and discussed plans for investment expansion.

The Kim Long Motor Hue Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park project is making a strong impact and is seen as a new industrial launchpad for Hue.

On the morning of January 14, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Changan Automobile Group officially announced the plan to build the Kim Long Truong An Vietnam passenger car manufacturing plant (5-7 seats).

On the morning of December 10, at the KIMLONG MOTOR Hue Automotive & Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park, KIMLONG MOTOR Hue Joint Stock Company and Van Anh Travel and Transport Co., Ltd officially signed an agreement on handing over 200 KIMLONG 99 sleeper buses and 50 KIMLONG X9 minibuses.

Investment promotion plays an extremely important role, contributing to attracting investment capital; forming industrial and export processing zones to serve the manufacturing of exports. With a favorable geographical location, open investment attraction policies, gradually refined mechanisms and policies for socio-economic development, etc., Thua Thien Hue has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

On the afternoon of April 7th, a seminar titled “Commercial Photography in the era of Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the Thua Thien Hue Photography Association and sponsored by Yongnuo, a company specializing in photography equipment manufacturing.
