On the morning of April 26th, the People’s Committee of Phong My Commune, Phong Dien Town, officially launched the O Lau Upriver Ecotourism Site (Ham Heo). This community tourism site was previously recognized by the provincial government under Decision No. 954/QD-UBND dated March 28th, 2021.

In the festive atmosphere of the “Colors of Spring in the Highlands” celebration in A Luoi, amidst the “tung tung da da” dances and echoing gong sounds, I was fortunate to witness a special ritual of the Co Tu people - the An Ninh Pa Nua festival. This is one of their ancient traditional ceremonies, expressing the sacred feelings of the bride’s family toward the groom’s family after many years of being in-laws.

The inaugural Van Xa “Steps of Ancient Fragrance” Race 2025, organized by the People’s Committee of Huong Van Ward (Huong Tra Town), will be kicked off on the morning of April 27th. As of April 24th, over 2,000 runners have registered, making it the local race with the highest number of participants ever recorded.

On the afternoon of April 25th, the City Institute for Development Research, in collaboration with the Institute for Digital Transformation and Learning Resources of Hue University, held a conference aiming at promoting Hue’s cultural development and expanding the Hue Bookcase project across university and college libraries in the city.

Ho Dac Cung, a young Hue native raised in Cai Lay, Tien Giang, developed a passion for engine mechanics and, through self-teaching, built his own airplane. In 1935, faced with financial constraints, he wrote to Emperor Bao Dai seeking assistance and received the monarch’s approval.

As part of the Book and Reading Culture Day program in 2025, on April 24, Hue City Library summarized a book cover design contest about Hue with the theme “Hue City, my hometown”.

Although not classified as a key sport, Jujitsu is steadily proving its potential with a series of notable achievements in both national and international arenas. These results have provided a solid foundation for the sport to aim for a coveted slot at the 33rd SEA Games later this year.

On the morning of April 22, the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University (HUFLIS), launched and introduced the Bachelor’s program in American Studies at the HUFLIS.
