Hue Monuments Conservation Center recently had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Ha Duong, managing director of the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VinIF, to discuss the implementation process of the project “Restoring, training and teaching Hue tuong mask painting art - a traditional art form at high risk of being lost”. The project is built by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and sponsored by the VinIF.

On the evening of June 9th, the Provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, in coordination with the Hue Festival 2024 Organizing Committee, launched the Lantern Festival.

Concerns about losing the “green” image of the heritage-rich ancient capital were prevalent when Thua Thien Hue province began developing industrial and economic zones (IZs and EZs) decades ago. On the morning of June 7, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha organized an opening ceremony of the Art exhibition of Buddhist culture - Hue Festival 2024 at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center (15A Le Loi Street, Hue City).

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. This event is part of the “Sustainable Forest management and Biodiversity conservation” (VFBC) project.
