Awarding scholarships to 94 underprivileged students from five communes

HNN.VN - On the morning of October 15th, at Phu Loc Commune, the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund under the Department of Health, in collaboration with the Zhi Shan Foundation, held the scholarship award ceremony of 2025, second phase, for underprivileged students.

Accordingly, the Zhi Shan Foundation presented 94 scholarships to students from five communes: Phu Loc, Hung Loc, Loc An, Vinh Loc, and Chan May-Lang Co, with the total value of nearly 91 million VND. Each student also received a book gift set worth about 400.000 VND, aiming at encouraging a love of learning and promoting a reading culture among students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Tran Van Khai - Director of the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund, said: “We hope these scholarships and small gifts will serve as motivation for students to overcome difficulties, achieve good academic results, and become responsible citizens who contribute to society”.

The program is a meaningful event that demonstrates the care and companionship of social organizations and sponsors in supporting students with difficult circumstances. It also helps create opportunities for them to strive for success and nurture their dreams and passion for learning.
