In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

On December 30, in Kim Long Ward, Hue City Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Urban Development held a conference to announce the Zoning Plan (1/2000 scale) for the Golf Course Tourism Area located in Kim Long Ward and Binh Dien Commune, Hue City.

The 2025 Conference on Connecting the Consumption of Agricultural Products, Local Specialties, OCOP products, and Handicrafts in Hue City is being held by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support from December 26 to 28.

On the morning of December 19, at Km 64+400 (Huong Tra Ward), the Ministry of Construction, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Hue City and the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to expand the Eastern North-South expressway, Cam Lo - La Son section.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.

On the afternoon of December 15, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Vietnam and Hue Help, held a conference to share a summary and evaluation of the results of the Child Drowning Prevention Project during the 2024-2025 period, while also calling for investment sponsorship for the next phase.

“Promoting the value of Hue’s local specialties through experiential tourism” was the theme of a specialized workshop organized by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support over 2 days, December 13 and 14.

On the afternoon of December 3, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held an online conference to launch the Petrovietnam STEM Innovation Program. Hue City’s live broadcast was hosted at the headquarters of the Department of Education and Training.

On December 2nd, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a meeting with representatives of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company (VSIP) to hear a report on several proposed investment projects in the city.

More than just a heritage city, Hue is increasingly becoming a “regional diffusion axis”, linking economic corridors and opening opportunities for cooperation and sustainable investment for the Central region.
