On July 31st, a delegation from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, including 16 high school students along with representatives from Okinawa Prefectural Government and Japan Overseas Cooperative Association (JOCA) Okinawa Office, arrived in Hue City to participate in a cultural exchange and homestay program as part of the “OIC Youth’s 2025” program. This event is one of the key activities under the Japan-Hue 2025 Homestay and Cultural Exchange Program.

On the afternoon of July 31, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong held a working session with the leaders of Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company regarding the progress of the Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex Project in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, and discussed plans for investment expansion.

Aiming to create a clean, friendly tourism environment for the health of the community, efforts to prevent and control the harmful effects of tobacco at accommodation facilities, hotels, and resorts in Hue City have recently been strengthened and effectively implemented. On July 29 - 30, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized the Vietnam - Germany Psychotherapy Conference: Evidence and Application in Vietnam.

On July 29th, the Vietnam Center for the Development of Maternal and Child Health, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony for the first-level postgraduate neonatal medicine training course based on standards from the United Kingdom. This marks an important step forward in improving the quality of neonatal care in Vietnam, particularly in underserved regions.

On the afternoon of July 29th, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, inspected the progress of the FPT Education Complex project located in An Van Duong New Urban Area.

On July 29, Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of Hue Museum of Fine Arts stated that the 8 paintings were created by 7 artists using various materials; in which, there were some paintings by artists whose works were already part of the museum’s collection.

The lush lawns and shaded canopies of ancient trees in the Imperial Citadel, Co Ha Garden, or Thieu Phuong Garden are not naturally self-sustained.
