On the morning of January 11, Hue Department of Health, in coordination with the Central Committee of Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Viettel Hue, organized a program providing free medical check-ups, health consultations, medicine distribution, and gifts for policy families and disadvantaged households in Hoa Chau Ward.

On the morning of January 10, Hue City People’s Committee held an inauguration and handover ceremony for 3 houses in Khe Tre, while confirming the completion of five newly built homes and repairs to 40 others, achieving 100% coverage for eligible households across the city.

On the morning of January 7th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online meeting to urge the rapid implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign” to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes were collapsed, destroyed, swept away, or severely damaged by recent storms and floods. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

Successive floods have inflicted severe damage on irrigation infrastructure while directly disrupting the livelihoods of thousands of households. What are the most effective ways to respond? On December 24, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang conducted an inspection of housing construction for people under the “Quang Trung Campaign”, the allocation of resettlement land for households in landslide-prone areas, and the processing of administrative procedures in the communes, including Khe Tre, Nam Dong, and Long Quang (part of formerly Nam Dong District).

On November 20, Hue City Red Cross launched the program of presenting 1,000 gifts to households affected and damaged by the recent exceptionally severe floods. The funding was allocated by Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee through the “Joining Hands to Overcome Floods” program, aiming to promptly help residents stabilize their lives after the disaster.

Late in the afternoon of November 13, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung visited and encouraged households affected by the recent floods in Huong Thuy Ward, Hue City.

After the prolonged heavy rain and flooding in late October and early November, many traffic routes in Hue were cut off, causing significant difficulties in transporting goods. However, thanks to the proactive efforts of functional units and business households,… the commodity market in the area has basically stabilized, and the supply of essential goods is secured. Although prices have fluctuated, the changes are mainly concentrated on certain fresh products.

On the morning of November 3, 1,135 households with 3,121 people from 32 communes and wards were relocated to safe areas by the local authorities and functional agencies.
