Nearly 2,000 students from provinces and cities across the country will gather in Hue City to participate in 2025 National Sports Games for General Education Students, taking place from June 8 to 16.

The Suzucho Karate-Do International Clubs Championship 2025 was held from May 23 to 24 at Arena No. 1 on Ha Huy Tap Street, Hue City. This first-ever tournament was co-hosted by the Suzucho Karate-Do School of Vietnam and Hue City's Department of Culture and Sports.

For three nights, from April 25 to 27, at Di Nhien Duong Pavilion - an ancient architectural structure in Thieu Phuong Garden - within Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center collaborated with the Doi Dep tea brand to organize the program “Re-enacting the scene of the emperors hosting tea party for his mandarins” as part of the launch of the Royal tea enjoyment service.

As part of the World EXPO 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai (Japan), Hue City Department of Culture and Sports introduced the culture and history of Hue Ancient Capital to the world. Especially this year, Hue City is hosting Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2025.

On April 10th, the General Library of Hue City announced its coordination with various organizations to host numerous events and activities throughout April in celebration of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025.

On the afternoon of February 28, the “Registration day for Miss Vietnam 2024” took place at Hue University, the beauty pageant is hosted by Hue City.

On the morning of January 12th, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center hosted the Vietnamese and Korean Traditional Tet Experience event under the theme “Spring of Connection - Peaceful Tet.”

Amidst the vibrant and bustling atmosphere of transitioning from the old year to the new year 2025, and celebrating the historic milestone of Hue becoming a centrally-governed municipality, on the evening of December 31, the Hue Festival Organizing Committee, Hue City People's Committee, and Carlsberg Vietnam Co., Ltd. collaborated to host the Countdown - Welcoming New Year 2025 event at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap and Van Tien Dung streets.
