On March 31, Hue Dental Hospital announced that its Department of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, in collaboration with Resurge International (US), will provide free reconstructive surgery for 100 cases of congenital deformities.

On March 12, Hue Central Hospital announced that the 15th patient to receive a heart transplant across Vietnam has recovered. This was a complex transplant case, making the surgical procedure and post-operative care quite challenging for the doctors and medical staff.
