Over the past 20 days (starting from March 20th), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with National Museum of History, has completed archaeological excavations at three test pits in the Dai Cung Mon area.

Visitors and culture and history enthusiasts visiting Hue Imperial Citadel should not miss an exhibition space featuring the “Great Royal costume of the Annam court” painting collection at the East wing of Thai Hoa Palace.

Under the guidance of Quoc Hoc Hue Cooperation and Public relations Club (The Mosaic), students from various places have had the opportunity to learn about the history and architecture of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. This has been a meaningful occasion for students from different schools to explore a new learning environment, while also creating opportunities for cultural connection, experience, and sharing.

For Le Hoang Anh Thu, a 12th-grade student specializing in History and Geography at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, history holds a unique appeal and passion. This has driven her to continuously strive for First Prize in the National Exam.

As "open classrooms," historical sites in Hue offer students an interesting and visual way to access history.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. The exhibition opened on January 22 at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Truong An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

According to old tales, Bao Vinh blacksmithing craft (Huong Vinh Ward, Xuan Phu District) has a long history, originating from Hien Luong Village (Phong Dien Town), which was renowned for its traditional blacksmithing and ironworking.

Inside of Thai Hoa Palace - “the heart” of Hue Imperial Citadel, the exhibition titled “Thai Hoa aspiration” takes visitors immerse into the journey of exploring the deep of history and enjoying timeless cultural values.

In 2024, Thua Thien Hue Museum of History welcomed 55,250 visitors to the museum and its affiliated historical sites.

That is the topic of a workshop held on the afternoon of December 7 at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street (Hue City), featuring a talk by Nguyen Chi Ngan, a lecturer from the Division of Anthropology, Archaeology, and Tourism Culture, Faculty of History, University of Sciences, Hue University. The event was organized by Hue Books and Culture Club.
