On the morning of August 28, the Department of Home Affairs held the opening ceremony for the exhibition themed “Hue through the course of history through archival documents”. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

More than 1,400 documents and artifacts previously managed by Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center have been handed over to Hue City Museum of History (268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

A team of experts from Japan, in collaboration with the Faculty of History (University of Sciences, Hue University), is conducting a survey of the Thanh Loi National Relic Site, located in Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City.

Over 1,000 documents and artifacts stored in the French-style building at 23–25 Le Loi Street (Thuan Hoa Ward) are expected to be handed over to Hue Museum of History.

Ao Dai Vietnam through historical periods” is the theme of an exhibition co-organized by Hue City Museum of History and Quang Ninh Provincial Museum. The exhibition opened on May 29 at the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum (Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province).

More than a month of being carried out, the archaeological excavation has revealed the foundation of Dai Cung Mon - the main gate of the Forbidden City of the Nguyen Dynasty. This is an important step forward in reconstructing the architectural symbol destroyed by war nearly 80 years ago.

On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

The Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with a team of experts from the National Museum of History, has commenced the second phase of archaeological surveying and excavation at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site.
