The exhibition is part of the event series “Journey through the colors of intangible cultural heritage representing regions and areas”, which opened on the morning of March 28 in Bac Ninh Province, on the occasion of the Ceremony to receive the UNESCO’s Certificate recognising the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex as a World cultural heritage site.

According to leaders of Hue City Museum of History, the exhibition offers the public and international friends with a comprehensive and systematic overview of Hue City’s world cultural heritage and regional heritage recognized by UNESCO, as well as the city’s incredibly diverse and rich system of national intangible cultural heritage.

With an area of over 100m2 allocated by the organizing committee, Hue delegation’s exhibition is designed with four main spaces.

The first space highlights the land and people - where Hue’s cultural heritage converges and is recognized. The Hue - A National Center of Intangible Cultural Heritage space introduces and affirms Hue’s status as a unique cultural hub of the country.

The leaders of Hue City Museum of History stated that the exhibition not only introduces and affirms Hue’s status as a unique heritage city of Vietnam, but also serves as a strong link between a glorious past and a sustainable future. It thereby contributes to defining Vietnam’s identity in general, and Hue’s culture in particular on the world cultural map.

The exhibition runs until March 31.
