On the morning of April 17, Hue City Fisheries Association officially launched a project titled “Green Fisheries - A Circular Economic Initiative Led by Women in the Fisheries Sector in Hue City” (HUEFIS). The project aims to address the challenges related to gender inequality, environmental protection, and foster the sustainable development of the fisheries sector in Hue City’s coastal and lagoon localities.

As the costs of raw materials and fuel continue to rise and market requirements become increasingly stringent, digitalization combined with green production is becoming an inevitable direction for many businesses and manufacturing facilities in Hue City. In addition to optimizing costs and improving efficiency, digitalizing production processes also opens up opportunities to elevate quality and increase product value.

On March 23, the City People's Committee held a working session with the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev) to discuss technical infrastructure projects, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Government of Luxembourg.

As Lunar New Year is coming to town, public spaces throughout the heart of Hue City are slowly turning into spring destinations for both residents and visitors. These days, Hue Green Parks Center is putting the finishing touches on its preparations, bringing fresh and vibrant spring colors to the city’s public spaces.

During his visit to Hue in early November 2025, General Secretary To Lam conveyed a message to the city’s Party Committee, authorities, and people: Hue must preserve its cultural identity and the distinctive character of Hue people amid a new phase of development. That reminder was not merely an expectation, but a guiding orientation for the entire term.
