On the morning of September 25th, the Center for Social Work and the Child Protection Fund (CSW-CPF), in collaboration with the Vietnam Child Protection Fund and the Hope Foundation, organized a scholarship award program for students with disabilities, agent orange victims from various districts, towns, and Hue City, as well as children of fishermen facing difficult circumstances in Quang Dien and Phu Loc districts.

On the morning of July 28, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam”, funded by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) - Norway (through the WWF - Vietnam), received by Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Tourism, organized the inauguration of 5 waiting lounges and free water stations at tourist destinations, including: Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Ban Nguyet Bridge - Me Wharf, Vong Canh Hill, and Sinh Village wrestling area (Hue City).

Organizing music programs to raise funds for charity, students from Hue University have partially helped pediatric patients and underprivileged children find motivation to rise in life.

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. This event is part of the “Sustainable Forest management and Biodiversity conservation” (VFBC) project.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, attended the event.

The Provincial People's Committee has recently issued Decision No. 950/QĐ-UBND, granting a license to establish and recognize the charter of the Hue Bookcase Development Fund, aiming to create a stable source of funding for publishing activities to build and develop the Hue Bookcase.

On the afternoon of May 7, the Provincial Study Promotion Association coordinated with the Nguyen Chi Thanh Talent Promotion Scholarship Fund and the Department of Education and Training to organize an awarding ceremony to students who won high prizes in the national excellent student competition in the academic year of 2023 - 2024. The Hue Monument Conservation Centre (HMCC) has recently unveiled the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund (HHCF) website - quydisanhue.vn. The HHCF website serves as a platform providing comprehensive, complete and centralized information about the fund, while also being a public and sole address on the internet for calling and receiving support from individuals and organizations for the HHCF.

Thai Hoa Palace, the symbol of imperial power of the Nguyen dynasty, set to be built by Emperor Gia Long in 1805, is currently being undergoing a restoration funded by nearly 130 billion Vietnamese dong from the state budget. The comprehensive conservation and restoration project of Thai Hoa Palace relic began in late 2021 and is scheduled for completion in 2025.
