Afternoon in the mountains descends very quickly. The cold rain and mountainous wind can not stop children going to the "Stars Class". That is the name of a free English and drawing class for ethnic minority children in difficult circumstances living in the border district of A Luoi. In this class, there are only smiles and joy that make the children do not want to leave.

That is the confident statement of many students after completing a free-swimming class organized by the Chi Thien Fund for Children this summer. Sharing with Thua Thien Hue Weekend about the idea of implementing the Free-Swimming Program, Mr. Hoang Trong Thuy, Director of Chi Thien Fund for Children, Chief Representative of Taiwan’s Zhi-Shan Foundation in Vietnam, shared:

On the morning of August 5, a free congenital heart disease screening program for children in difficult circumstances was held at Hue Central Hospital. The program was organized by Viettel Thua Thien Hue in collaboration with the Vietnam Heart Fund of Vietnam Television and Hue Central Hospital.

On June 8, Hue Central Hospital shared that in a cooperation program with the SmileTrain charity organization (USA), the Odonto-Stomatology Center will provide comprehensive examination, consultation and reconstructive - cosmetic surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft palate.

Skipping the monetary requirement while having the flexibility schedules, many young people are turning to smartphone apps to learn foreign language for free. Many groups to “study together, progress together” are formed out of the need to improve their foreign language skills.
