After 37 years of waiting, the Miss Vietnam beauty pageant is finally being held for the first time in Hue Imperial Citadel under the unique contexts, as Hue has just officially become a centrally governed municipality, and the city is hosting the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025.

On the evening of June 1, Hue City’s Youth Activity Center organized the opening ceremony for its summer activities and the final round of the 2025 International Folk Dance and Modern Dance Festival.

After a week of activities, the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival, Hue - 2025, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 28.

On May 19, the ceremony of signing sponsorship between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and Carlsberg Vietnam was held at Hue City People’s Committee. Accordingly, the Huda beer brand will continue to be the Platinum Sponsor of Hue Festival 2025 with a total sponsorship of up to 9.5 billion VND.

The AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2025 took place on the afternoon of May 16 at Tu Do Stadium, Hue City. This activity aimed to promote sustainable development through gender equality, creating a playground where all children, genders, and different circumstances could participate.

Nearly 100 students from primary schools, art centers, and gifted drawing classes across Hue City came together to take part in an art festival themed “Loving Family”. The event was organized by Hue Museum of Fine Arts on May 17th at Ho Chi Minh Memorial House (Duong No Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

On the afternoon of May 15, at the Hue City People’s Committee headquarters, a sponsorship signing ceremony took place between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), marking BIDV’s collaboration in key cultural and tourism events during the National Tourism Year in Hue.

The 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival 2025 will be held in Hue City. This information was recently announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

As part of the plan to organize the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the spring festival - “Spring of the Ancient Capital” has many unique programs and activities. Not only are there festival activities in the city center, but in the land on the majestic Truong Son mountain range, the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival would create more highlights and impressions for visitors to Hue this March.

On the morning of April 12th, Hue College held a celebration for the 2025 traditional Lao New Year Festival - Bunpimay (Buddhist calendar year 2568), for Laotian international students currently studying and living in Hue City.
