On January 17th, Phu Xuan Ward Women’s Union, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Phu Xuan Ward Health Station, organized a program providing free breast cancer screening for 200 female officials, members, and women residing in Phu Xuan Ward. The activity was supported by the “Bright Tomorrow” Fund.

After what she has demonstrated, Thu Xuan, from Huong Tra, is known as one of the few female footballers in Viet Nam who excel on both the grass pitch and the futsal court, with numerous titles at the national and regional competitions.

On the afternoon of December 18, Hue wrestling shone brightly after securing a hat-trick of 3 gold medals in the women’s freestyle events, marking a remarkable feat not only at the SEA Games arena.

Hue Central Hospital has just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam, the branch of Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd., and other sponsors to organize the “Hair donation - Spreading love” program for female cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at the Oncology Center - Hue Central Hospital.

One had planned to put aside her dream of studying, the other had lost both parents, yet both top-score female students were able to step into the university lecture hall thanks to the dedication and support of the lecturers at Hue University of Education.

Young Women’s Football Festival 2025 took place on the afternoon of September 13 at Tu Do Stadium. The event was co-organized by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Department of Culture & Sports, the Department of Education & Training, and Hue City Football Federation.

On the afternoon of May 30, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had successfully discharged its 16th cross-country heart transplant patient, notably, the first female patient to receive a cross-country heart transplant at the facility.

On the afternoon of April 29, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) successfully performed a transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) for the first time on a 76-year-old female patient from Da Nang. This marks the hospital’s first implementation of this technique.

“The failure at the 100-mile distance (equivalent to 160km) at the Vietnam Mountain Marathon in December 2024 has only driven me to set new goals in Ultra Mountain Marathon, with a strong resolve to rise from failure,” Nguyen Thi Ngot, a Hue-born runner ranked among the top 10 female amateur marathoners in Vietnam for the 42.195km distance, shared her plans for 2025.
