Currently, there are around 34.000 people with disabilities in the provincial area, including about 950 being cared for and supported at public and non-public social assistance facilities.

On September 30th, Hue Central Hospital organized a Pediatric Endocrinology training course for 30 doctors of the unit and medical facilities. Also attending the training course were professors and doctors from Toulouse University and Lille University (France).

Based on statistics on the number of guests booking rooms at accommodation facilities and tourist attractions, it is expected that Thua Thien Hue will welcome a large source of visitors from other provinces and cities during the upcoming long holiday of April 30 and May 1, with an estimated 65,000 arrivals.

The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.

On January 24, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Phan Ngoc Tho visited and presented gifts at some social protection facilities across the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of 2024, the Year of the Dragon.

Alongside the whole country, this is when businesses, production facilities, supermarket systems, and markets... in the province are actively preparing goods to meet the shopping needs of the people at year end and the Lunar New Year of Dragon 2024.
