This was the theme of the 2026 Expanded Scientific and Technical Conference organized by University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Hue University on June 20.

Hue Central Hospital is bringing a range of advanced medical technologies into clinical practice, enabling people to access high-tech healthcare services in Central Vietnam.

In line with the policy of expanding foreign relations and international cooperation in the People’s Public Security Force, as well as the 2026 cooperation plan between Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior, from June 16 to 20, 2026, a delegation from Hue City Police, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Hue City Police, had a official visit to Siem Reap Provincial Police in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

On the afternoon of June 15th, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang received a delegation of officials from Dongnae District (Busan, South Korea), led by District Mayor Jang Joon-Yong, during their official visit to Hue City.

On the afternoon of June 13, the Hue City People’s Committee Office announced that, as part of an official visit to Hungary, a delegation from Hue City led by Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, carried out a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary and met with the Vietnamese community and overseas Vietnamese businesses to promote cooperation, attract investment, and expand foreign relations. ​

As part of its international cooperation program, Hue Central Hospital welcomed and worked with a delegation of South Korean partners from June 8th to 10th, 2026, to expand cooperation in healthcare, research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and the development of specialized medical services in Hue City.

As numerous strategic infrastructure projects and new development corridors gradually take shape, Hue is gaining additional room to expand its urban space and advance its maritime economy, logistics sector, and service industries.

On June 9th, a delegation of South Korean businesses led by Professor Heather J.Y. Greene of Koshin University of Medicine visited and attended a working session with Hue City People's Committee. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

No longer operating on a small, fragmented scale, many cooperatives (Co-op) in suburban areas of Hue City are transforming their mindset, expanding their operations, improving product quality, and gradually establishing a stronger presence in the market.

On the morning of May 17th, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the 6th Expanded Skills Festival for clubs, teams, and groups in Hue City in 2026 at the Quoc Hoc Stele Square in Thuan Hoa Ward.
