On the afternoon of December 23rd, the City People’s Committee held a ceremony to announce and present the titles of People’s Artisan and Meritorious Artisan, as well as the title of Hue Artisan in the field of handicrafts. The event also honored and presented Certificates of Recognition for outstanding city-level rural industrial products in 2025. ​

On the morning of December 19th, Hue International General Hospital Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of Hue International General Hospital at No. 15 Hanoi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City. On the afternoon of December 18, Hue wrestling shone brightly after securing a hat-trick of 3 gold medals in the women’s freestyle events, marking a remarkable feat not only at the SEA Games arena.

On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism of Hue City, organized the National Conference on Net Zero Tourism in Hue. Attending the event was Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

Held for the first time in Hue City, the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 (taking place from December 10th to 12th) not only contributes to honoring Vietnamese tea culture but also is expected to serve as an important starting point, laying the foundation for the formation of a profound cultural, artistic, and tourism-oriented annual event, helping enrich Hue’s identity and enhance its attractiveness.

On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). The event attracted the participation of many artists and students.

Familiar literary figures from Hue shared ways to find inspiration for reading with many students during an event organized by Hue City Library.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.
