On the evening of April 17, Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor and confer the title of “Honorary Citizen of Hue City” to Mr. Kang Bong Jun, a South Korean national, General Director of SMC Hue Co. Ltd., in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the locality’s socio-economic development and international cooperation.

On the evening of April 16, the music show titled “Đi mô? Nghe chi?” (Where to Go? What to Listen) Episode 2 took place in the area by the poetic Huong River, attracting a great number of locals and visitors coming to enjoy performances.

On the evening of April 3, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang had a meeting with the working delegation from the City of Krems (Krems an der Donau - Republic of Austria), led by Mayor Peter Molnar. On the evening of April 25, the “Mystical Imperial Palace” art program will officially launch at Hue Imperial Citadel, kicking off a series of engaging activities within the framework of Hue Festival 2026. The program will run from April 25 to 28, starting at 8:00 p.m. every night, and it will be free of charge for both residents and visitors.

On the evening of March 14th, at the hall of Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Institut Français de Hué, in coordination with Hue Vietnam - France Friendship Association and local educational institutions, organized Francophonie Night 2026. The activity is part of a series of events celebrating International Francophonie Day and attracted a large number of students.

On the evening of March 3 (the 15th day of the first lunar month), at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival and Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the art program “Thi di ngon chi” on the occasion of the 24th Vietnamese Poetry Day.

On the evening of March 3rd (15th day of the first lunar month), at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel, as part of Hue Festival 2026 and Hue Poetry Day, the Festival Organizing Committee will coordinate with Hue Monuments Conservation Centre to present the “Thi di ngon chi” (poetry is used to express aspiration/ideals) art show to the public.

On the evening of February 16 (the 29th day of the Lunar December), just before the sacred moment of Lunar New Year’s Eve welcoming the Binh Ngo Spring 2026, city leaders visited and extended New Year greetings to agencies, organizations, businesses, and personnel on duty.
