Launching the Action Month for Children
HNN.VN - On the evening of May 29, at Bao Vinh Ancient Town (Hoa Chau Ward), the City People's Committee organized the launching ceremony for the Action Month for Children 2026 under the theme “Happy and safe children confidently stepping into the digital era”.

In recent years, child protection, care, and education have consistently received attention through the implementation of various comprehensive measures. As a result, children are increasingly living in a safer and healthier environment, with better conditions for comprehensive development. However, alongside the rapid development of digital technology, children today are also facing numerous online risks, including harmful content, cyberbullying, child abuse, excessive dependence on electronic devices, and potential legal violations due to the lack of safe internet-use skills.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Luong Bao Toan emphasized that this year's Action Month for Children is not only an annual event, but also a call for the entire community to join hands in creating a safe and child-friendly environment in the digital age. The effort aims to promote the positive benefits of technology while minimizing its negative impacts on children's comprehensive development.

Alongside the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Hoa Chau Ward also organized a variety of activities at Bao Vinh Ancient Town from May 29 to 31. The activities provide children with an opportunity to have fun while learning about and preserving their hometown's traditional cultural values.
On this occasion, many organizations and institutions also presented scholarships and gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
Through the Action Month for Children 2026, Hue continues to reaffirm its commitment to mobilizing the support of the entire community in caring for and protecting children, creating conditions for every child to live safely, develop comprehensively, and step into the digital era confidently.
