During their visits to educational institutions on the morning of November 20th in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, city leaders acknowledged the contributions of the units to the city’s education and training efforts; at the same time, hoped that schools will continue to promote their roles, innovate, improve teaching quality, and make positive contributions to Hue’s development in the new period.

On the occasion of November 20 this year, the City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 outstanding individuals from educational institutions for their significant contributions to teaching, managing, and coaching gifted students in the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Hoang Ngoc Vinh An, a medical student, representing Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, surpassed many contestants from medical and pharmacy universities across the country to win the Second Prize in the “National Medical and Pharmacy Students’ Model Session” competition. This achievement helped Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy make a mark at the “9th National Medical Education Conference - 2025”, held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in early November.

On November 18, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung visited and extended congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and teachers of Hue University and the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025).

On the afternoon of November 15, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) held an online training session on developing digital competence (DC) for high school students, in accordance with Circular 02/2025/TT-BGDDT and other directives guiding the implementation of the Ministry of Education and Training’s Digital Competence Framework. ​

On the afternoon of November 5th, a working delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), led by Standing Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong, visited, encouraged, and presented support gifts to the education sector of Hue City to help overcome flood damage.

At the 2025 National Student Vovinam Championship held from October 19th to 25th in Vinh Long, the Vovinam team of Hue University excellently won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals.

The Karate and Taekwondo competitions of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025-2026) officially opened on the morning of October 24th at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University. These are the third and fourth events (following boat racing and pétanque) among a total of 18 sports featured in the festival.

A number of hotels, training centers, and educational institutions… have announced that they will provide free accommodation for people during the period of complex weather developments. This kind gesture warms many hearts amid the typhoon and rainy season.
