Hue University listed in Times Higher Education’s Asia University Rankings for the first time

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of June 22nd, Hue University announced that the Times Higher Education, a magazine covering news and issues related to higher education, has released the Times Higher Education’s (THE) Asia University Rankings 2023.

 For the first time, Hue University has made it onto the Times Higher Education's Asia University Rankings (Illustrative image).

In 2023, Vietnam has six ranked higher education institutions. In addition to the five institutions that were included in the 2022 rankings, Hue University has made its debut this year with a ranking of 601+. 

The Asia University Rankings use 13 criteria similar to its global university rankings but are adjusted to the features of higher education institutions in the region.

The 2023 THE Asia University Rankings include 669 higher education institutions from 31 countries and territories. Compared to 2022, this year's list has an addition of 79 higher education institutions, including Hue University.

China's Tsinghua University and Peking University still hold their top two places for the fourth time in a row, while Japan has the most number ranked institutions, with 117.

Previously, in October 2022, Hue University made its debut in the THE’s World University Rankings 2023 with a ranking of 1501+.
