Awarding to excellent students 

In the National Excellent Student Contest for High School in the 2022 – 2023 academic year, Thua Thien Hue province has 62 students winning prizes, including 2 first prizes (in Math and English), 17 second prizes, 18 third prizes, and 25 consolation prizes. This is also a contest that Thua Thien Hue province has most students winning prizes than any previous national excellent student selection contests for High school they have joined. With this achievement, 62 scholarships with a total worth of 122 million VND were awarded to encourage students’ studious spirit.

5 consolation scholarships with a total value of 8 million VND were also awarded to projects representing Thua Thien Hue province to participate the national contest “Students with Startup Ideas” in 2023 and the National Science and Technology contest for high school students in the school year of 2022 – 2023.

In addition to awarding to excellent students, Vietcombank – Hue branch gave 70 scholarships worth 1 million VND/scholarship to 70 students with difficult circumstances of Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

On this occasion, Nguyen Chi Thanh Scholarship Fund also offered a 5 million VND scholarship to Truong Van Quoc Dat (Grade 12 Biology, Quoc hoc High School for the Gifted) with his achievement of winning silver medal in International Biology Olympic in the academic year of 2021 – 2022.
