On the afternoon of October 2, at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training held a signing ceremony on cooperation with the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, and launched a Chinese language teaching program in schools for the 2026-2027 academic year.

At a workshop on ‘Promoting Vocational Education Development in Line with Business Needs’, organized by Hue City Department of Education and Training on the afternoon of October 2nd, delegates proposed a range of solutions to strengthen cooperation between government agencies, training institutions and businesses, with the aim of aligning workforce training more closely with labor market needs. The workshop was held in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day (October 4th).

On the morning of October 1st, wards, communes and educational institutions across Hue City launched Lifelong Learning Week 2026 under the theme ‘Learning for Real, Practising for Real, Mastering Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence to Build a Learning Society and Promote Lifelong Learning’.

On the afternoon of September 30th, Hue City Youth and Children’s Center, in coordination with the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Division of Hue City Police, organized a 2026 life skills education program for students under the theme ‘Safe Schools’ at Vy Da Primary School (Vy Da Ward).

On the afternoon of September 29, the Department of Education and Training met with Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted to review preparations for the ceremony celebrating the school’s 130th anniversary (1896-2026), scheduled for October 2026. Representatives of relevant departments and agencies also attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of September 26, at Le Duc Anh Secondary School (Chan May - Lang Co Commune), the For Highland and Island Youth Fund and the ‘For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa’ Club, in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, held a ceremony to award scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 academic year to ethnic minority students and students in coastal and island areas across the city.

On the afternoon of September 22nd, Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup), in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, donated computer sets to schools in disadvantaged areas. The activity was carried out as part of the programme ‘Providing Computers for Information Technology and Technology Education for Students’. ​

On the morning of September 21, the University of Arts, Hue University, held the opening ceremony for the 2026 - 2027 academic year, welcoming 327 new students, and announcing the decision to award it the Certificate of Institutional Education Accreditation.

On September 18, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of the University of Education, Hue University, received and held a working session with a delegation from the University of Innsbruck (Austria) to discuss directions for cooperation in training, scientific research, and academic exchange.

Amid rapid technological change, entrepreneurship education at universities needs to create an environment where students can develop creative thinking, problem-solving capacity, and the ability to apply knowledge in practice. This was also the focus of discussions among experts, managers, lecturers, and businesses at the workshop ‘Innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education’, organized by Hue University on the afternoon of September 18.
