With the goal of building environmentally friendly Green Transport infrastructure, in line with the overall economic development orientation of the province in the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, on June 14, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Gbike Co., Ltd. (South Korea) signed a cooperation agreement to implement a green transport project in the relic area to exploit and promote the values of Hue relics.

Concerns about losing the “green” image of the heritage-rich ancient capital were prevalent when Thua Thien Hue province began developing industrial and economic zones (IZs and EZs) decades ago. However, through the province’s meticulous selection process, many of these zones have flourished, proving the right direction and significantly contributing to job creation and socio-economic development.

This December 2023, the Regional Container Lines (RCL) from Thailand opened an international container shipping route to Chan May port. Recently, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) co-hosted a conference titled: “Green Transitioning for Economic Prosperity: Future for East-West Corridor”. Mr. John Rockhold, President of AmCham Vietnam, foreign diplomatic missions, businesses, experts, and investors from Vietnam, the United States, Laos, and Thailand attended the conference.

Public investment resources play a significant role in speeding up economic, political, and social development, especially in the construction of economic and social infrastructure, creating a favorable environment for production, business, and enterprise activities. In the face of recent challenges in this field, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had a discussion with the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong.

This project is in keeping with the province's resources and socio-economic development orientation. Also, it is believed to be able to exploit and promote the strengths of the culture and people of Hue as well as developing cultural industries.

Following the success of 8 Hue Traditional Craft Festivals from 2005 to present, and implementing the Four Seasons Festival Project, Hue City People's Committee continues to organize Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 with many rich and meaningful programs and activities, contributing to stimulating tourism demand and socio-economic development.
