On October 21 in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) organized a workshop titled “Guidelines and Implementation Roadmap for the ASEAN Eco-School Criteria – Towards Plastic-Free Schools” as part of the ASEAN Eco-School Awards Vietnam 2025. The event attracted over 100 in-person delegates and more than 1,000 virtual participants.

On October 16, the National Data Association coordinated with Hue City People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch the Global Data Expert Network (Vietnam Data Expert Network - VDEN). On October 3rd, representatives of the Management Board of the city’s Economic and Industrial Zones reported that the area has attracted many major projects. From now until the end of 2025, six more projects will be invited, with a total investment of about 10 trillion VND.
