The Central Coast Nature Museum has launched the art photography contest “Dance of the Lagoon Birds”. Entries will be accepted from August 18th to October 31st, 2025, from all Vietnamese citizens, capturing vivid and unique moments of bird species living or migrating in lagoons and coastal areas.

On May 12th, forest ranger units received a Javan pangolin, two elongated turtles, and a pygmy slow loris from citizens who voluntarily surrendered the animals.

According to the Provincial Forest Protection Department, on December 31, the forest rangers received a critically rare and endangered pangolin from a citizen who voluntarily handed it over via the hotline.

On the afternoon of September 25, the Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor “Exemplary citizens of Thua Thien Hue province” in 2023 and award various state-level awards to groups and individuals.

Though without the vibrant flowers adorning the streets and alleys, nor the sweet confections filling every kitchen, the excitement and national pride on Independence Day remain undiminished in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen. On the morning of March 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting and awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Thua Thien Hue Province" to Ms. Andrea Teufel, Chief Representative of the German Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage; and Ms. Kazuyo Watanabe, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Children’s Care League.
