The celebration of 30th anniversary (1993-2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of Hue Royal Court Music being honored by the UNESCO as world heritages took place during June 16-18. On this occasion, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had a conversation with Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center about the process of preserving and developing heritage.

There is a need to calculate the traffic directional distribution inside the Hue Imperial City scientifically and reasonably for preservation and development. On the evening of June 23, the Hue Lotus Festival 2023, themed "Lotus Beautifies Hue," was officially opened at Tinh Tam Lake in Hue City. The event is directed by the Provincial People's Committee and organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with LAATA Vietnam Limited Liability Company, with the participation of Hue Vietnam Organic Company Limited, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, and several other businesses from both within and outside the province.

The direct flight connecting Hue with Incheon (South Korea) will take off on July 31. Hue's tourism sector and many travel businesses are pooling efforts to seek opportunities to develop tourism and open the market for Korean tourists in particular and international tourists in general.

Among the traditional handicrafts, the nón lá (conical hat) has become a cultural specialty for tourists when visiting Hue. It is necessary to have a suitable direction for restoring and further promoting the craft of making conical hats through community-based tourism activities.

Hue travel businesses and partners in Malaysia have agreed to initially organize tours in the form of charters to bring visitors directly to each other country.
